Chapter 391 | Dhulfaqar came from the sky
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَشْيَمَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عليه السلام) عَنْ ذِي الْفَقَارِ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (صلى الله عليه وآله) فَقَالَ نَزَلَ بِهِ جَبْرَئِيلُ (عليه السلام) مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَ كَانَتْ حَلْقَتُهُ فِضَّةً.
391. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Asheym, from Safwaan Bin Yahya who said: I asked Abu Al-Hassan Al-Ridha about Zi Al-Fiqaar (Zulfiqaar), the sword of the Rasool Allah ﷺ. He said: ‘Jibraeel came down with it from the sky, and it hilt was made of silver’.
