The Sufficient (Vol 8) · Hadith 511 (#Ḥadīth #1)

أَبَانٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) يَقُولُ دِرْعُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (صلى الله عليه وآله) ذَاتُ الْفُضُولِ لَهَا حَلْقَتَانِ مِنْ وَرِقٍ فِي مُقَدَّمِهَا وَ حَلْقَتَانِ مِنْ وَرِقٍ فِي مُؤَخَّرِهَا وَ قَالَ لَبِسَهَا عَلِيٌّ (عليه السلام) يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ.

511. Aban, from Yahya Bin Abu Al-A’la who said: I heard Abu Abdullah saying: ‘The armour of the Rasool Allah ﷺ, Zat Al-Fuzoul had two rings of foil in front of it, and two rings of foil at the back of it’. And said; ‘Ali wore it on the Day of Al-Jamal’.
