The Weakened Ones · Hadith 226 (#Ḥadīth #1)

66 - محمد بن أحمد بن قضاعة بن صفوان بن مهران، أبو عبد الله، الصفواني. ما أنكرت منه شيئا إلا ما يرويه [عن أبيه] عن جده، عن الصادق (عليه السلام)، فإنه شيء غير معروف، وقد رأيت فيه مناكير مكذوبة عليه. وأظن الكذب من قبل أبيه.

66 – Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. Quḍāʿa b. Ṣafwān b. Mihrān, Abū ʿAbdillāh, al-Ṣafwāni. I have not disclaimed anything from him except for what he narrates from his father from his grandfather from al-Sadiq عليه السلام , for it is something unknown and I have seen unrecognized (matters) in it, untrue against/upon him. And I suspect that the lying was by his father.
