2 - خلف بن حماد بن ناشر بن الليث، الأسدي، كوفي. أمره مختلط. يعرف حديثه تارة وينكر أخرى، ويجوز أن يخرج شاهدا.

2 – Khalaf b. Ḥammād b. Nāshir b. al-Layth, al-Asadī. Kufan. His affair is confused. Sometimes his ḥadīth are recognized, othertimes they are denied. It is permissible to bring him forth as a witness.
