Qur'ān 42:34 · Ash-Shura (الشورى)

أَوْ يُوبِقْهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُوا۟ وَيَعْفُ عَن كَثِيرٍۢ

Or He could destroy them for what they earned; but He pardons much.
